The latest single, "Strangers," by Halsey featuring Lauren Jauregui is absolute fire! When we heard it, we picked up vibes from 90's Swedish Pop band Ace of Base. It is very a lesb-icon song, and we were so into the song, our hearts were breaking for our girlfriend (Guuuurl...we ain't got no girlfriend lol) not to mention we have had it on repeat all day.
“I just love that Lauren and I are two women who have a mainstream pop presence doing a love song for the LGBTQ community,” Halsey stated to VOGUE during a recent interview. “It’s unheard of. It’s very rare to see it from a female perspective.”
We very much love the melody and we feel that the lyrics are sung with much soul by both of these talented young women. We give the single five stars as it is very G L A M-worthy and recommend you download/stream it right at this very moment!! What are you waiting for?!
