Happy Pride Month

Another year has flown by, and we are here again, #PrideMonth! A time where we come together as a community to promote love, equality, and unity. Unfortunately, in just a few days, it will be the one year anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub (which has since become a foundation) attack in Orlando Florida, where 49 attendees of the popular gay nightclub lost their lives; and apart of us is just a little skeptical about attending San Francisco Pride this year. However, our boyfriend of five years has reassured us by telling us that we cannot live in fear. And he is totally right.

This year, we are marching (or possibly riding in a float) in the parade this year. Thanks to our job at Amazon Fulfillment. We will be with our boyfriend, his sister, and her sister's girlfriend together enjoying the celebration and making memories. Us personally, we are taking part in the parade in memory of the Pulse victims, the youth of our LBGTQ brothers and sisters who feel they do not have a voice, and anybody who has been a victim of discrimination over whom they love.

Without a doubt, we are excited about watching Australian "Somebody Love You" singer, Betty Who and New York "All Over My Face" rapper, Cazwell perform on the main stage. Sunday June 25. According to the official SF Pride website. other performers are to include, Madame Gandhi, Pure Roots, American Idol finalist, David Hernandez, and San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus. We have always wanted to witness live and be apart of SFGMC. All in all, we cannot wait for Pride!
